Properties: A high activity antioxidant fmatural synthetic rubber provides powerful antiozonant antioxidant properties with excellent high temperature, fatigue flex resistance to rubber compounds. While used primarily fozone resistance, it is a more active antioxidant than quinoline diphenylamine based antioxidants. The product (alone in combination with TMQ) provides compound protection against catalytic degradation by copper other heavy metals. The product has no negative effects on compound adhesion to textiles steel cord up to levels of 2 phr. Above this concentration it may bloom interfere with ply to ply ply to cord adhesion. It will discolcompounds cause severe contact migration staining.
Application: Used in pneumatic tire components, solid tires, belts, hoses, cables, automotive mounts, bushings general mechanical products that are exposed to continuous intermittent dynamic operating conditions require protection from ozonation.
